I love this Birthday Dog Dress!!! It is absolutely adorable! My little Chihuahua looks stunning and sassy while wearing it. The dress is true to size. The quality of the fabric is also made very well. The ruffles on the dress flare out like a too too, it is perfect. The outfit also included a sparkly bow tie and a birthday hat, which also looked cute on her. We can not wait to dress her in it on her 3 year birthday! I definitely recommend this birthday dress.The sable and white dog in the pictures is 4.5 lbs and around 11-12 inches in the chest. I ordered a size small and the dress fits her wonderfully! It is really cute, and I love the ruffles! It is a great party dress-- not just for birthdays.However the hat was too big for her. It comes with a really really long elastic band that I had to tie up, but even with that, it was just too big for her. So I showed you that on my 9 lb black and white dog (who is also wearing the bowtie).I'm actually pretty happy with the way that worked out so they both get a fun outfit! I'm guessing they make just one size hat and use it for all the sizes of dresses.The necklace and charm are fun, but I won't be using them. I'll be giving them away to someone who will.Overall I'm pleased with this, as it fits my needs very well. If you want a tiny dog to wear the hat, you might not be happy, but for me it is fine.I used the size chart but the dress/tutu was way too small. I only kept it on her for a few minutes to grab some photos. The hat was too big, but luckily I had another. The accessories that came with are kinda weird. The necklace says “I love my owner” and the charm/keychain says, I love my dog. Seems a little backwards as the owner would wear the “I love my dog”.This is the absolute bomb! This is the cutest doggy outfit I’ve ever gotten. Our pugs gotcha day is coming up and I wanted something special for her to wear since she is our princess. This little outfit is perfect and it came with a little birthday hat, bow tie and a necklace, so my boy dog can wear the little bowtie and they look so cute together. I can’t wait to put this on on her for her special day and post some pictures in it. For sizing reference, I went with the extra large since pugs have a wide chest area (she’s only about 17 to 18 pounds), so I would say that this would not fit any dog that is bigger than that.I got this set for our little maltipoo to wear for her first birthday which is several months away, but it's so cute that I had her wear it for my daughter's birthday right away. The dress fits well and the tulle skirt is super cute. The hat comes completely flattened out and the string on it was way too long for my little dog, so I had to shorten that and shape the hat so it wouldn't collapse on her head. The set also comes with a bow for the dog's neck but it was way too big and loose for my 4lb dog. The dog tag and matching necklace were items that we didn't use. They're like cheap junk jewelry. The dress and hat are the best parts of the set.I got this for the dog I’m adopting that is 35 pounds. So a medium should have been perfect, but as you can see, it fits my daughters 8 pound chihuahua instead.
